Originally, Prosvetov was a fourth-round (114th overall) pick by the Coyotes in the 2018 NHL Draft.
He went 4-6-1 across three seasons with Arizona to accumulate a 4.07 goals-against average and .871 save percentage.
Then on Oct. 8, Prosvetov went on waivers before being claimed by the Colorado Avalanche the next day.
New week, new addition.

In his change of scenery to the “Mile High City,” Prosvetov played 11 games with a 4-3-1 record, .895 save percentage and 3.16 goal-against average.
He is back to where he was a few months ago, looking to find another shot in the NHL.
If no other team claims him, Prosvetov will be sent to the AHL with the Avalanche’s affiliate, the Colorado Eagles.
