Inter Milan have already won the Serie A title, but they can put more exclamation points on their campaign by breaking additional records.

The Nerazzurri mathematically sealed the title two weeks ago by beating their arch-rival AC Milan out of all people.

Simone Inzaghi’s men won the Derby della Madonnina by two goals to one to kickstart the wild celebrations.

This was the club’s 20th triumph throughout its elusive history. Hence, it unlocked the Nerazzurri’s second golden star.

Therefore, Inter won the Derby, the Serie A title and earned the second star in one fell swoop. This might be the football equivalent of hitting the jackpot on roulette online where you can play hundreds of social casino games.

However, the new Italian champions might not stop there.

Despite last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Sassuolo, the club can still break three records in the final three fixtures of the season, explains La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInter1908.

The first is the club’s own record for points tally. Roberto Mancini’s Scudetto-winning side from the 2006/07 season still holds the record with 97 points.

At the moment, Inzaghi’s men have 89 points in the bag. So if they can win their last three remaining Serie A fixtures, they will raise their tally to 98, setting up a new record in the process.

Inter Milan Can Still Shatter Three Records In Three Remaining Serie A Matches

Then we have the clean sheet record. Juventus have managed to register 21 shutouts in a single campaign. Moreover, Lazio equaled this number last season.

At the moment, the Nerazzurri stand at 20 clean sheets. So if they can prevent two of their three remaining opponents from scoring, they will set a new record.

However, Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer will find it hard to reach Gianluigi Buffon and Ivan Provedel’s record. That is because the Swiss veteran only registered 18 clean sheets thus far, with Emil Audero standing in goal on another two occasions.

The former Bayern Munich man would have to pull off three clean sheets in the last three rounds to equal the record. However, Inzaghi might not even field him on all three occasions.

Finally, the last record that the Beneamata will look to beat is the number of goals conceded.

Juventus hold the record by only shipping in 20 goals in the 2011/12 and 2015/16 campaigns. As for Inter, they have thus far allowed only 19 goals.

Therefore, if they can avoid conceding a goal for the last three matches of the season, they will shatter the Old Lady’s record.
